Open Question: A friend of mine in my high school was arrested for possession of marijuana?

So a friend of mine in my high school was arrested for possession of marijuana (1 gram) and has signed a paper saying he will appear in court on the specified date. This is hist first offence and he has been a good student his whole life before this (C+ and B average). He isn't so smart but he isn't so stupid either, but he started because a lot of family problems such as family members trying suicide, an unstable home environment etc. I have talked to him and he is very worried he will be put under oath and asked who he bought it from. He is a Christian and puts God first in his life so he would never lie under oath. However he is not a snitch either, he could of wiped himself clean probably if he snitched at the beginning but he never snitched and is now going to court. I feel very bad for him since he is a very close friend of mine, we became friends when we were like 6 and we are already well in our way through high school and I fully understand why he started smoking it to begin with. He is a Christian but pot is something he never viewed as a drug. He has been offered other drugs but has always said no to them except for pot, he doesn't even smoke cigarettes. So here are the questions. 1. Will he be put under oath? 2. Will he be asked who he bought it from, and if yes does he have a right to remain silent when asked the question, or is there some way he could get out of answering the question? 3. What are some possible (realistic) punishments for his actions, will he be sent to Juvinial Hall, will he be sentenced to a certain amount of community service? PS: We both live in BC in case different provinces have different policies. (Canada)

Hi there, I don't mean to be gross, but this is a medical question. I'm 20 years old and over the past two days, I've been having accidents. It's not that my bladder is too full or anything, it's just that a little bit (3 or 4 drops) is leaving my body when I laugh, bend over, or pick up something heavy. I understand that these are all actions that put pressure on my bladder, but I never have to pee when it happens. It has happened 3 times so far and it's really uncomfortable considering today I was an hour away from home when it happened. My question is; does this happen to anyone else? is it normal? and should I see my doctor about it? some of the founding fathers of our country like george washington, thomas jefferson, and alexander hamilton preached that this country should be a free market, capitalist country that follows the constititution and should have a non intervention foreign policy. today is the OPPOSITE of that. 1. George Washington(foreign policy)- george washington was probably the biggest supporter of a non-intervention foreign policy. while jefferson and hamilton were debating to support britain or france, washington remained neutral and chose NOT to intervene. As he left office he read his farewell address(which is great) and he mostly said that the interests and conflicts in the rest of the world does not concern the interests of the U.S. he warned against getting involved in other country's affairs and against alliances. and hes right because alliances can destroy a nation's soverignty and he said that the U.S. can remain neutral because "our greatest ally is the atlantic ocean". Today we are in NATO, UN, we have bases in germany, japan, and south korea, and are policies in the mid east are the wrong policies. we should be going after terrorists and destroying terror NOT nation building and policing the world like we are doing. Washington would not like this at all. 2.Thomas Jefferson(power of the feds) ik that jefferson may have gone beyond his own power during his presidency but he was all about for most of his life folllowing the constitution and leaving many rights to the states. The feds should only have the power for trading, tarriffs, own currency, war, treaties, and dispute between states. today the feds have control over income tax(IRS is stupid and the feds should be funding on budget cuts, excise taxes, and tarrifs), EDUCATION, and even abortion and potentially gay marriage. The feds cant go beyond their power like this! 3. Alexander Hamilton(economy) when hamilton was the first treasury secetary, he preached and had set up a capitalist, free market economy where the people run it(especially the wealthy), competition is strong, and the upper class is on top of all this by competing with each other for profit and revenue and creating jobs for poeple. TODAY, we have a nearly socialist economy where the governement is starting to own businesses and are getting involved in the market world where their actions are decreasing competition. sharing wealth, tax burden on wealth,Bailout plan and potential healthcare plan are prime examples. DO you agree?? i know that the world has changed but our greatest allies are the oceans. if we better secure countries then its more possible to have a non intervention foreign policy and we dont have to have alliances. alliances just prove to haunt you. also capitalism is the best type of system and socialism is a system that the U.S. is NOT meant to have and its an unfair system that doesnt work. also y do the feds have to have so much power??? listen to ron paul, he knows his stuff feds shouldnt have control over education, its a state issue also providing healthcare will decrease the competition for healthcare in the market and whenever you have a monopoly of something which is what the governement providing healthcare is, then thats not good

Open Question: HELP PLEASE MONSTER PUPPY!?

I have a shit szue puppy I have raised him as soon as he was done being nursed by his mother. I baught him from a breed and been inlove since! But that basturd left me and used all the money from my account when i was away including the overdraft limit and left me with £4000 charges on my account. When i came back i was obviously devastated and i wasnt even aware of that till the bank manager called me and warned to pay all the money but i told him that i dint used the card but obviously he didnt trusted me. Im a fresher. Completed my BE this year. I joined an auto company and after two weeks, i really found it hard to cope up. I started getting an aversion towards the company. I approached my senior and said that im leaving as i don't have the mindset to work for this company. He consulted his superior and that guy talked to me for an hour saying he could sort out the problems and stuff like that. Since such a person of high stature is talking to me, i was in a dilemma and reluctantly said i will try again. But next morning i found a lot of bitterness..Going back to the company seemed the most stupid thing. Now I have stopped going. The company didn't ask me to sign a bond but just asked me for a notice period of two months in the offer letter. What kind of repercussions would it be having? Hi I am currently going through a phase of discovering the world of 'Skin Care'. (Just to let you know, I am a 15yr old teenage girl) who does the whole cleanse - tone - moisturise business, but its kind of difficult to get the products right, kind of going through that 'testing' time-period at the mo. My Current Skincare routine (depending on how i feel): Neutrogena Visibly Clear Oil-Free Gel Wash or Simple Refreshing Gel Wash I used to use Neutrogena Deep Clean Gel Wash, but that ran out so used whatever was in the cupboard :) and I exfoliate 1-2 times a week (normally when i wash my hair) using Now (this might get confusing) I started using: Simple Kind to skin soothing facial toner (alcohol free) but then i discovered: Neutrogena Visibly Clear Triple Action Lotion (contains alcohol denat - Bad?) (which is like a cleanser and toner in 1) and I thought 'Perfect! for when you cant be bothered to wash your face late at night, and don't wanna use face wipes. Oh, by the way, I use Boots essentials fragrance free face wipes, only occasionally though. And for moisturiser I use: Neutrogena Visibly Clear Oil-Free Moisturiser and for eye creams I use: Body Shop Elderflower Un-perfumed Eye Gel (mornings) and Body Shop Vitamin C Eye Reviver Cream (night time) My skin type is definitely combination, have blackheads on my nose area (nose, chin and erm .. inner cheeks - the skin around my nose/under my eye area - not sure what to call it) My cheeks and forehead are fine and (a pretty major factor) I DON'T Wear Make-Up(!) I generally eat healthily, but i do admit, i have been eating more chocolate lately (even though i read that chocolate doesn't actually cause spots/break outs - anyone up for an argument on that while we are at it?) And please, if that fact is wrong, please correct me :) Is what I am doing ok? Please just some general advice on skincare, because i feel rather oblivious to everything at the moment. I know in Islam we are taught that there's Heaven and Hell. And I know both are mentioned in the Quran and the The Prophet (pbuh) has seen glimpses of them; so they do exist. But I really don't want anyone to go to Hell. I know there are a lot of bad people in this world, that deserve some punishment, but when I think of someone being in Hell I get really depressed and I feel really bad.I get a really weird, hurt, horrible feeling insideIdk how to explain it. So then I just say to myself that Allah(swt) won't send anyone to Hell because he is merciful and maybe the bad people can be sent to the lowest level of Heaven and the good can granted the higher levels. So that means the bad people, don't get severely punished, but they don't get rewarded either (which I don't feel upset about). But all this obviously isn't going to be based on what I (me) do or don't feel. And then sometimes I think maybe Allah(swt) described Hell to get us to be moral and 'behave.' Just how parents say they will punish us if we do bad things, but they never do because their love is (usually) unconditional. (I'm sorry to compare Allah's(swt) action to those of a parents'I just used it to make clear what I was thinking). And then after thinking all that, I feel as though I am sinning for even thinking that way and I should just accept what Allah(swt) wants. Open Question: My puppy was spayed on 10/26 she will randomly jump/flinch very fast & start 2 lick/chew on her incision. Why?

She seems to be healing just fine. She was back to her normal rambunctious self with in a day or 2, but she will wake up out of a dead sleep, or stop dead in her tracks because of a very fast flinching jumping like action, throw herself on the floor, and start licking and nibbling at the stitches. I go to a private high-school in FL, and they are very strict on the students. But I believe that they pay enough attention to the teachers. I took a Algebra quiz the other day and i got it back today, my grade was %95 and I am very happy for that but then i noticed that she marked wrong a problem, which was done perfectly correctly. So during the class I told her that she made mistake and she said that I will have to come after school to talk about it because she knew that it would start a rebellion since she refuses to change grades because she believes that people would change the answers and lie to her about getting it right. At our school every student had to sign a contract that said that you would not cheat and so on, plus we have to write on every paper to be turned in " I abide by the(my school name) honor code" and sign it. So by me signing it i had signed to that legal contract I had said that I did not cheat, and she cant say that other people had cheated before so I can not have my grade changed as a consequence to other people's actions. So I come after school and I find 4 people that have come for the same exact problem, they were doing a horrible job at debating with her. So I started to talk. I told the teacher that i have signed the contract so she can not do this without proving that I have cheated, because in america we are innocent until we are proven guilty, then i said that i should not pay for her mistakes such as her reading the answer wrong. Then i added, that if she could not see or read because of her age (54) she can not physically do her job to its requirements and does not deserve it when there are hundreds of better teachers that apply everyday at our school that can be better than her. Well I came up with these answers: Wilderness: With the expansions of housing needs - many areas of wilderness have been being used to build homes and less money is available to keep up and maintain wilderness areas. Farmland: With the spread of non-farm residents across the country and land use being diversified, farmland and related habitats become fragmented. Most of the farmland changes occurred between 1964 and 1974, partly as a result of farmland loss from recurring farm crises. Between the 1960s and late 1970s farm crises stimulated protests like the "holding actions" of the NFO (National Farmers Organization) in 1967 and the "tractor Cade" in Washington D.C. started by the AAM (American Agriculture Movement) in the late 1970s. In the 1970s expanding urban areas on the east and west coasts, were disrupting agriculture and raising concerns about negative environmental impacts of low density development. Development patterns that showed up in the 1970s made geographically sweeping metropolises surrounding a wide variety of land use. Between 1950 and 1993, metropolitan areas with populations over one million grew five-fold, smaller metropolitan areas more than doubled and non-adjacent nonmetro areas declined by half. Meaning, the largest metropolitan areas had the highest rates of farmland change, with decrease rates almost four times greater than in nonmetro non-adjacent areas. Most of the lowest rates of decline are found in three Central and the Mountain Census Divisions.
